If you are in your final year of school rowing (17 turning 18) or looking to be a club rower this is for you. This is our transition to bigger things in rowing
7-week program – 02/06/2025 to 19/07/2025
3 land and 3 water sessions tailored to school leavers and aspiring club rowers
About North Esk Rowing Club
North Esk Rowing Club was established in 1899 and has always had the reputation of ‘the peoples club’. Not that long ago both Queechy and Kings Meadows High School had their own rowing programs offered out of North Esk’s club rooms. Many of our club champions attended public schools.
- Separate change room facilities including showers are available;
- Gym;
- Boathouse Coffee is upstairs;
- Easy walking distance from the CBD and Launceston College;
- Free carparking.
All Weather
The Launceston Youth Rowing Program runs all weather programs. All programs will be run rain or shine.
What to bring
- Rowing Zootie, bike pants or old shorts (nothing loose like basketball pants
- Water bottle
- Hat (bright or white)
- Crocks/slides or thongs
- Socks and runners
- Full change of clothes
- Thermal top and leggings in cold weather
- Jumper or wet weather top
